This time around I stayed on the east side of the city, which is a bit more chill than the west side. My neighborhood was called Asakusa, which has a huge temple that gets really busy. It seems to be where all the girls go to get their traditional kimono photos in. Although some do drag their boyfriends along in their yukatas! Then there’s all sort of street food and endless alleyways of shops. Pretty cool area. Although at night it empties out pretty quickly.
Next up is the William Mori Tower skydeck, located in Roppongi
Next up was a thing called TeamLab Planets, and interactive immersive experience that I’d heard good things about. Lots of lights and reflections!
I had an evening to walk around Akhibara, which is Tokyo’s anime capital. It was great in the light rain with the reflections and neon lights!
